Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an NDT Level 3 professional, located in the Greater Albury-Wodonga Area. The role involves overseeing and managing non-destructive testing processes to ensure the integrity and quality of materials and products. Responsibilities include performing and reviewing NDT inspections, developing and approving testing procedures, training and certifying NDT personnel, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and company quality guidelines. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to address quality concerns and continuous process improvement is also a key aspect of this role.
Qualifications
* Expertise in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods such as ultrasonic, radiographic, magnetic particle, and penetrant testing, with Level 3 certification.
* Strong experience in developing, reviewing, and implementing NDT procedures and ensuring compliance with applicable industry standards and regulations.
* Proven ability to train, mentor, and certify NDT professionals across multiple methods and techniques.
* Proficiency in quality assurance practices, attention to detail, and experience identifying and resolving materials testing challenges.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills for effective coordination with teams and stakeholders.
* Familiarity with aerospace, power generation, or industrial manufacturing processes is highly preferred.
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
