About the Role:
As BUMA Australia grows, we are seeking full time HV Electrician to join our team. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor. This role is a permanent, full-time role operating on a lifestyle roster.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Conduct servicing, repair, and maintenance of heavy mobile mining machinery.
* Conduct servicing, repair, and maintenance of commercial and industrial installations.
* Use of various technologies to investigate and diagnose equipment faults Ensure repairs are carried out in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications
* Complete scheduled maintenance, field breakdowns, servicing - inclusive of component change outs and statutory electrical testing
* Ensure electrical safety is paramount in the execution of all electrical work
* Be a proactive part of the sites electrical team in identifying improvements
* Willingness to be able to perform in supervisory capacity when required
About You:
As a skilled HV electrician you will be an essential member of our maintenance team, highly experienced in conducting servicing, repair Our Ideal candidate will have:
* An Australian Trade Qualification
* Current QLD Electrical Licence or equivalent
* Exposure to a heavy industry environment in a similar role
* Competency in use of diagnostic tools
* HV Switching qualifications
* High level of diagnostic skills and schematic knowledge
* Experience with Electric Haulage systems on Mining Equipment
* Safety Focus with high attention to detail and abide by site safety processes
