About the Position
As a key member of our educational community, you will collaborate with teachers to deliver academic and wellbeing programs to students.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate pastoral care and community development initiatives to meet student wellbeing needs and attendance targets.
* Develop and lead wellbeing programs for students.
* Support the delivery of vocational training programs offered to students.
* Assist in delivering associated programs, services, and events for young people through campus operations.
* Form meaningful relationships with students to support their strengths, passions, interests, and unmet needs.
* Provide case management support for identified students in line with school policies and practice.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess a genuine passion for working with young people, a strong interest in holistic development, and a commitment to client-centred practice.
* Hold a Certificate III or above in Youth Work, Community Services, or other relevant qualification.
* Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with students from diverse cultural backgrounds.
* Ability to work with students using the Strengths Approach and demonstrate non-judgmental empathy.
* Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficient in computer software applications.
* Hold a current Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
