About the position
We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to support ongoing systems optimisation and improvement.
You will be responsible for:
• Analysing, improving and supporting enterprise business systems.
• Working with stakeholders to improve business processes and system utilisation.
• Mapping, analysing, reviewing and documenting business processes, utilising process improvement methodologies, recommending new, viable approaches.
• Configuring, supporting and optimising business systems, providing advice and guidance to customers and stakeholders on technical issues and solutions.
• Assisting with testing, change management and user adoption.
• Supporting system implementations, upgrades and enhancements.
• Acting as a conduit between business users and technical teams.
About you
As a collaborative member of the Business Systems team, you will analyse, design, develop and implement software, web and multi-media applications to support achievement of the City's objectives and improved business efficiencies through integrated systems.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate through their CV and covering letter that they meet the following capabilities:
• Qualification in a relevant discipline such as Information Systems or relevant experience.
• Relevant experience in a similar role within a large organisation.
• Experience with enterprise business systems (Civica Authority, TechnologyOne, Content Manager highly desirable)
• Experience in efficient utilisation of information systems and technology
• Advanced computing, numeracy and literacy skills.
• Organisational skills.
• Customer service and communication skills.
• Research and analysis skills.
• Problem solving, negotiation and influencing skills.
• Knowledge of process improvement methodologies.
• Knowledge of the practical application of Work Health and Safety measures in the workplace including hazard identification in an office environment.
