About the roles.....
Rip Curl is on the lookout for 4 passionate Assistant Product Managers to join our Product team in Torquay, supporting our Men's, Women's, Kids, and Men's Accessories divisions.
In this dynamic role, you'll work closely with the Head of Product and Global Product Managers to execute strategy, grow sales, and maximise profitability. You'll be the go-to expert in your product category, helping shape the range from concept to shop floor, and ensuring our products meet the needs of our crew, both surfers and beachgoers around the world.
What You'll Be Doing
Product Strategy & Execution
* Support seasonal range planning, market research, and competitor analysis.
* Assist in building and maintaining accurate product data across global and regional lines.
* Ensure alignment with the Global Range Development Cycle and calendar.
Go-to-Market & Sales Support
* Prepare sales materials and samples for wholesale, retail, and e-commerce channels.
* Collaborate with Marketing and Design to deliver high-quality assets and photoshoots.
* Attend buy meetings and sales seminars to support purchasing and product presentations.
In-Market Performance
* Monitor sell-throughs, stock levels, and top sellers to inform product decisions.
* Visit key accounts and stores to gather insights and deliver training sessions.
* Partner with planning and purchasing to optimise inventory and maximise sales.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
* Work with Retail, Marketing, Design, and Sustainability teams to ensure product excellence.
* Coordinate SMU and destination submissions and ensure data accuracy across systems.
Leadership & Development
* Demonstrate Rip Curl's values and contribute to a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
* Take initiative, challenge the status quo, and support sustainability efforts through research and partnerships.
