The Role
Do you want to make a difference to our local community? Working as our Landscape Architect in our innovative and dedicated Public Space Design team, you will contribute to the delivery of open space and streetscape projects for the City. Types of projects include regional and neighbourhood playspaces, sporting & cultural precinct master planning, linear trail projects, streetscape enhancements and urban spaces, city signage, and more.
You will provide landscape architectural and urban design services to our internal clients and assist with the preparation of complete design and documentation packages including project briefs, site analysis plans, concepts, illustrative plans, details, sections and other graphic communication packages.
This is a full time role but with flexibility for part time of 4 days a week.
About You
To be successful in this position, you will have qualifications and demonstrated experience in the design of a variety of open space and/or urban design projects, project management skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. You will enjoy working cooperatively in a team within a sensitive and confidential environment and supporting projects that our local community will enjoy for years to come.
You will also be proficient in the use of computer software including Microsoft Office suite and a working knowledge of AutoCAD, Adobe and Sketch up. The ability to sketch and draw by hand is also highly valued.

This role requires a satisfactory police records check, drivers licence and relevant qualifications and experience required for membership with the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects.
