About The Role
Gather by Cater Care is seeking an enthusiastic Casual Catering Assistant to join our friendly team at the Mount Eliza site.
Pay
$26 per hour + casual loading and penalty rates.
Roster
Various days and hours; AM or PM shifts available.

This is a hands-on role in a fast‐paced kitchen environment, perfect for someone with a positive, can‐do attitude and a happy personality. You'll be involved in meal preparation and service and helping to create a welcoming dining experience every day. You'll work alongside a supportive and inclusive team where your contribution is genuinely valued, making each shift varied, engaging, and rewarding.
Key Responsibilities
* Assisting with food preparation and serving meals and snacks
* Providing excellent customer service with a smile
* Re‐stocking items as needed and after meal periods
* Washing dishes and keeping kitchen and dining areas clean and safe
* Following all food safety and hygiene standards
Desired Skills and Experience
* Experience in food preparation and/or customer service
* A basic Food Handler's Certificate
* A valid driver's licence and own vehicle
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a friendly and positive attitude
