About Our Client
Our client, a multidisciplinary construction company, specialises in delivering technically and logistically complex projects across various sectors, including health, infrastructure, education, retail, commercial, hospitality, industrial, manufacturing, defence, and community. They are looking for a Foreman/Civil Leading Hand to join their team on the Gold Coast.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Foreman/Civil Leading Hand you will be required to work from 6.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday and will be responsible for the following duties:
* Leading and coordinating daily tasks for labourers & operators
* Supporting demolition & civil earthworks activities
* Ensuring safe work practices and adherence to SWMS
* Communicating with supervisors, subcontractors & site teams
* Overseeing plant operations and general site productivity
* Assisting with planning, scheduling and resource allocation
* Completing daily reporting and site documentation
What You Will Need
* Leading Hand experience in civil construction and/or demolition
* Background supervising crews of labourers and plant operators
* Machine tickets highly regarded (excavator, roller, high-reach, etc.)
* Strong understanding of site safety, SWMS & compliance
* Driver licence + reliable transport
* White Card
* Ability to work across Brisbane or Gold Coast sites
