About The Team
AEMO's Market Registration team ensures an efficient, transparent registration process, enabling participation in the National Electricity Market, East Coast Gas Markets, and WA Retail Gas Market.
About The Role
As a senior team member, you'll manage complex registration applications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant rules and procedures. You'll mentor junior colleagues, coordinate end-to-end registration activities, and champion process improvements that strengthen Australia's energy markets. Collaborate with stakeholders to shape and implement regulatory change and help power the future of AEMO's market operations.
What You Will Be Doing
* Manage end-to-end registration processes efficiently and accurately
* Build and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Mentor and train junior team members on procedures and stakeholder engagement
* Identify, lead, and implement process improvements
* Drive reform delivery and change implementation within the team
* Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks and market procedures
* Maintain adherence to Workplace Health and Safety and relevant Acts
What You Will Bring To The Role
* Tertiary or postgraduate qualifications, or relevant industry experience
* Experience in the energy sector, compliance, or regulatory roles
* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
* Deep understanding of energy market regulations
* High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
* Proven ability to mentor and train team members
* Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in the use of Microsoft Office suite of products including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
