Job Description
The Finance Operations team is responsible for managing the organization's financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable. As an Accounts Payable Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring timely and accurate payment processing, as well as maintaining compliance with financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Performing accounts payable functions through driving P2P compliance and providing appropriate coverage in the processing of supplier invoices, resolving discrepancies, and preparing payments;
* Processing costed invoices directly into the system, invoices with a two way match to a PO and invoices with a 3 way match to a PO and receipt;
* Reconciling vendor statements and investigating reconciling amounts on relevant general ledger accounts;
* Engaging with vendors, internal stakeholders, and users to adopt and maintain excellent user experience, and success on P2P processes;
* Driving standardisation and business compliance in the P2P process and systems with both suppliers and business users;
* Undertaking and implementing improvements seeking out automation;
* Developing user guides for system processes and provide training to end users.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Experience in the implementation of AP automation;
* Experience as an Accounts Payable Officer with 3 way matching is desirable;
* Experience using large ERP systems;
* Intermediate excel skills;
* Proven ability to prioritise workload and forward plan;
* Ability to adapt quickly and demonstrate flexibility;
* A great communicator both verbally and in writing;
* Key eye for details.
