The Opportunity
We are seeking an outstanding Business Development Manager with a proven ability to identify and onboard brand-new clients for our Parts division.
Based in Gold Coast, this role focuses on strengthening existing customer relationships in the Parts sector while actively identifying new opportunities for growth. You'll play a key role in expanding business by nurturing current partnerships and uncovering fresh avenues for customer engagement.
Your day will involve:
* Prospect for new clients by networking, advertising, cold calling, and other means of generating interest from potential clients
* Locate or propose potential business deals by contacting potential partners
* Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
* Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences to establish new relationships
* Grow and retain existing accounts by presenting new solutions and Parts offered to clients
* Develop a robust pipeline of sales
* Close new business deals by coordinating requirements and developing and negotiating contracts
* Screen potential business deals by analysing deal requirements and financials
* Identify opportunities for campaigns, and distribution channels
What we are looking for:
* Demonstrated experience in a Sales role ideally within the trucking industry
* Excellent business sense, negotiation skills, time management and communication skills
* Proven experience identifying and onboarding new clients
* Demonstrated ability to deliver a high level of customer service
* Proven experience meeting and exceeding sales targets
* Proficient computer skills including strong knowledge of Excel
* Current Australian Drivers License and own vehicle
