Overview

Kyabram District Health Service (KDHS) is a medium-sized rural health service that delivers a range of programs and services including acute, subacute, residential aged care and allied and primary health care services. KDHS has three campuses located in the townships of Kyabram, Stanhope and Tongala.

An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated Registered Nurse to join the Graduate Nurse program in a supportive clinical environment.Graduates in the program rotate throughout 2 x 6 month rotations in acute clinical areas.

The program offers you the opportunity to consolidate nursing theory and practice. You are supported by the education team, clinical support nurses and nurse unit managers.

Upon successful completion of the program, Graduates are offered the opportunity of ongoing employment opportunities.

* Develop your ability to work independently and as a team member
* Enhance your decision making and critical thinking skills

About you

* Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
* Be registered through PMCV and allocate Kyabram District Health Service as a preference
* Basic knowledge of patient management and information systems.
* Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
* Highly developed interpersonal skills and commitment to team objectives
* Demonstrated evidence of excellent time management and organisational skills
* Competent computer skills and knowledge of patient management and information technology systems
* Ability to work across KDHS in the event of clinical escalation

Clinical placement appraisal/ ANSAT Tool: Include the cover page, time sheet, formative and summative rubric and comments, type of of placement. Please provide 2 ANSAT tools and email to
