Job Description:
Our ideal candidate will be responsible for undertaking geotechnical investigations including drilling rig supervision and test pitting. They will also conduct geotechnical inspections such as proof roll, stripping and pile inspections. Additionally, they will assist with geophysical investigations which include seismic refraction, magnetic surveys, electrical resistivity and downhole imagery ATV/OTV.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Applicants must hold a tertiary qualification in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering or Engineering Geology. They should also possess knowledge and experience using gINT and Holebase software. Understanding of AS**** requirements is essential. A minimum of 2 years site investigation experience is required. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively within a team environment and possess strong written and verbal communication skills. Numerical, analytical and observation skills are also necessary. Ability to problem solve and an interest in developing technical and project management skills are desirable.
