Senior Civil Engineer
This is a challenging and rewarding role for a skilled civil engineer with experience in land development projects. As a senior civil engineer, you will be responsible for managing and executing complex engineering projects from conception to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
* Project Planning and Design:
* Lead the design and planning of civil engineering projects, including roads, utility supply systems, stormwater management, and site development.
* Prepare and oversee detailed engineering designs, drawings, and specifications.
* Manage and coordinate a team of engineers, CAD technicians, and other design professionals.
* Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and environmental assessments.
* Project Management:
* Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.
* Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to ensure project objectives are met.
* Provide detailed timelines and identify necessary permits required.
* Clearly identify major milestones and project critical path items related to civil engineering.
* Manage and mentor engineering staff.
* Regulatory Compliance:
* Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations, codes, and safety standards.
* Prepare and submit necessary permits and documentation to relevant authorities.
* Technical Oversight:
* Provide technical guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
* Review and approve engineering plans, specifications, and calculations.
* Ensure the use of best practices and innovative techniques in project execution.
* Quality Assurance:
* Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure high standards of work.
* Conduct regular site inspections to assess construction progress and quality.
