Job Overview
The Infrastructure Delivery team is responsible for scaling and deploying new data center infrastructure. As a trainee, you will play a key role in helping us achieve this goal.
This position involves installing network equipment and cables, managing vendors, and negotiating deadlines with program managers. You will be responsible for running multiple projects simultaneously and working closely with the AWS Network Engineering and Network Technical Project Manager teams to ensure a smooth rollout of new designs and products.
Key Responsibilities:
* Adhering to security and safety best practices.
* Installing and testing copper and fiber optic cabling.
* Building and troubleshooting basic network devices.
* Creating and attaching labels and barcodes.
* Regularly lifting 15 kg or moving objects into position.
* Working regularly at heights and from ladders.
* Managing inventory of related materials.
* Following defined escalation processes and standard operating procedures.
* Operating in noisy areas with temperatures hotter or colder than standard office conditions.
* Traveling within the geographical work area.
Required Skills and Qualifications
You must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. Additionally, you should have strong problem-solving skills and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
