About the Role
You will provide person-centred support to clients with complex medical and behavioural needs. This role requires confidence, resilience, and strong clinical awareness.
This is ideal for a support worker who:
Has experience in high-complexity disability care
Is confident managing seizures and chronic health conditions
Remains calm and professional in challenging situations
Is passionate about empowering clients to live with dignity and independence
Client Overview (High-Complexity Support)
The clients present with complex neurological, behavioural, and physical support needs, including:
Scoliosis
ADHD
Schizophrenia
Seizures and Epilepsy
Intellectual Disability
Additional chronic medical and mental health conditions
Strong experience in complex care, behavioural support, and seizure management is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Complex personal care and daily living support
Seizure monitoring and health observation
Medication management
Mobility and incontinence support
Overnight support (sleep interruptions may occur)
Supporting emotional regulation and behavioural challenges
Community access and appointment attendance
Maintaining a safe, structured, and supportive environment
What We’re Looking For
✔ Minimum 2 years’ experience in Disability Support
✔ Experience in complex care, mental health, intellectual disability, and seizure management
✔ Confident managing challenging behaviours
✔ Calm, patient, and emotionally resilient
✔ Strong communication and teamwork skills
✔ Genuine passion for person-centred care
Essential Requirements
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Working With Children Check (WWCC)
Current First Aid (HLTAID011) and CPR (HLTAID009)
Valid Australian Driver’s Licence
Reliable, comprehensively insured vehicle
Certificate III in Disability, Individual Support, or equivalent
Willingness to complete pre-employment checks
