JOB DESCRIPTION We are looking for an experienced Conduct and Partner Matters leader to join the Office of General Counsel (OGC) team. As a member of the team, you will lead the Conduct and People Matters team and contribute to all aspects of people conduct matters at the firm in a supportive and dynamic team environment. You will work with senior leadership directly in investigating conduct matters and advising on partnership and complex employment related matters. As a senior leader in OGC, your impact will be seen by: Supporting strong and trusted relationships with our internal clients and governance bodies Providing trusted and sensible advice on employee relations and conduct related matters and investigations Assisting with the review, legal analysis and preparation of advice to our business clients on a variety of matters while working closely with the organisation's People & Culture, Partner Affairs Office and risk and compliance teams Providing focused and pragmatic solutions to address legal risk and business problems About You: You have people leadership experience and thrive on creating a positive team environment Experience and excellence in the field in advising on employment and partnership law matters You will be familiar partnership law and will have handled complex conduct and employment matters in your prior roles You have experience in working within a Governance framework to ensure consistency and appropriateness of decision making You will have excellent listening skills and and will respond appropriately to feedback from stakeholders You have experience and confidence in dealing with and assisting senior management (both in written and verbal communications), including an ability to draft clear and precise legal documents and communications You have excellent interpersonal and commercial skills, as well as an ability to build relationships and influence with impact You can identify and consider critical issues and assess and articulate legal risks (including likelihood and impact) so the business can make informed, risk-based commercial decisions It's time to move forward.
