Role Description
This is a contract FIFO role (14/9 roster) on-site role located in Orange, NSW for a Project Engineer | SMP | FIFO. The Project Engineer will be responsible for communication, project management, project engineering, project planning, and co-ordination reporting directly to the construction services lead. Managed scope will include;
* Oil & Gas Facilities – Construction, maintenance, and modifications for production facilities, FPSOs, compressor stations, and pipeline infrastructure.
* Pipeline & Station Infrastructure – Installation and maintenance of mainline valve stations, meter stations, and pump stations.
* Industrial & Process Equipment – Mechanical installation of packaged equipment, mineral processing units, tanks, silos, chutes, and hoppers.
* Petrochemical & Power Plants – Modifications, debottlenecking, construction, and maintenance of petrochemical and power generation facilities.
* Water Infrastructure – Installation and maintenance of water treatment and distribution facilities.
* Brownfield & Maintenance Projects – Specialized expertise in upgrades, refurbishments, and operational continuity for existing industrial plants.
Qualifications
* Communication and Project Management skills
* Project Engineering and Project Planning skills
* Experience in mine site civil engineering projects
* Ability to work independently and in a team
* Strong problem-solving skills
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering
* 5 Years industry experience in the mining sector
