We have a great opportunity for a skilled Software Engineer to join our team based in South Australia, reporting to the Software Architect.
We offer flexible work arrangements, such as working a 9-day fortnight, to support work-life balance.
The successful candidate will be responsible for completing engineering activities in accordance with project procedures and standards, and where applicable regulatory requirements. Leadership and mentoring responsibilities may also apply.
Key Responsibilities Include:
1. Undertake assigned Software Engineering activities, including related documentation, in accordance with project directives and standards, and the lifecycle stage of the project.
2. Provide regular status updates to relevant supervisors, as required.
3. Provide guidance, mentoring, and/or leadership to junior software engineers in their activities, where applicable.
4. Lead a small team of software engineers to deliver an allocated package of work, where applicable.
About the Role
* Experience in C++ or C# is considered desirable.
* Experience working with embedded systems and hardware is considered desirable.
* A relevant tertiary qualification in IT is considered desirable, with a Mechatronics degree preferred.
* Defense security clearance or eligibility to obtain NV1 clearance.
* Eligibility to be cleared for International Traffic in Arms (ITAR) regulations.
