Sales and Bookings Assistant – Boat Charter Agency · Are you energetic, efficient and motivated ? · Are you a good communicator with good organisational skills ? · Do you have strong computer skills? · Can you work with a seasonal business · Get On Board with Eastcoast Sailing and join a small, passionate and energetic team. About us Eastcoast Sailing specialises in boat charter events on Sydney Harbour and Pittwater. We arrange Corporate events including staff functions and client entertaining. Private functions events include birthdays, hens/bucks etc. We have a large variety of boats catering for all kinds of events from couples to groups of 200 or more. We have been arranging wonderful experiences on the water for our clients for over 14 years. We are looking for a Sales and Bookings Assistant to join our team. The role will involve managing enquiries, closing deals, managing events and communicating with customers and existing clients. What are the Terms ? Wages : 35-45 per hour plus superannuation October – March Seasonal Hours: · September and April – 15- 20 hours a week · October to March – 20 – 30 hours a week Two days in the office – Tuesday Thursday, the rest working from home. We are based in the Gladesville area in a large comfortable home office. What you will be doing: As the Sales and Bookings Assistant your core responsibilities are : A) Manage inbound web and phone enquiries B) Close deals on boat charters C) Managing the boat charter event, including: – Communications with the clients, phone & email – Managing event including booking skippers, wharfs, boats, catering, etc – Raising invoices using XERO accounting package – no experience necessary – Receiving payments in XERO - no experience necessary D) Marketing strategies : – EDM campaigns – Social Media marketing Facebook/ Instagram posts and blogging – Key client liaising What you must have to apply for this role: – Self drive, motivation and organisation skills – Excellent English.
