What you will be doing:
Develop new features and enhancements across the full stack for a modern web application.
Design, build, and maintain scalable Java microservices using Spring & Hibernate.
Implement front‑end components using Angular, with flexibility for candidates skilled in React or JavaScript.
Participate actively in architectural discussions and contribute to technical decision‑making.
Collaborate with other engineers, product managers, QAs, BAs and other stakeholders to deliver high‑quality solutions.
Ensure code quality through testing, reviews, and adherence to engineering best practices.
Contribute to a collaborative and growth‑focused team culture.
What you will need to succeed:
Strong commercial back-end experience with Java
Demonstrated experience building and maintaining microservices‑based architectures ( Spring / Hibernate )
Proficiency in modern front‑end development with Angular - would consider React or JavaScript
Strong proficiency with Web-based Applications
Experience working in an AWS Native environment where everything is containerized ( Docker / Kubernetes )
Solid understanding of software engineering best practices, including testing, code reviews, and clean coding principles.
Previous experience in a financial organisation would be highly beneficial
Strong problem‑solving abilities and the ability to take ownership of technical outcomes.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
