Job Title: Artisan Baker
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled artisan baker to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, mixing, cutting, and shaping dough and pastry ingredients, monitoring proving, cooking, and cooling times, and ensuring the appearance of items is consistent.
The ideal candidate will have a Certificate III in Patisserie or equivalent and a minimum of 3 years' experience in a relevant field. They must also be able to work in a team environment and have OH&S awareness, food handling, and RSA certificates.
Skill Requirements:
* Preparing, mixing, cutting, and shaping dough and pastry ingredients
* Monitoring proving, cooking, and cooling times
* Variety of baking techniques and methods
* Weighing ingredients and tracking production schedule
* Stock management and ordering
* Cleaning and equipment upkeep adhering to sanitation and safety regulations

* Able to work in a fast-paced environment
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
