Our clients are a Tax and Wealth Advisory firm (25+ staff) who specialise on providing services to successful family groups and growing businesses.
This isn't a high volume role as we are requiring someone with high attention to detail and outstanding operational skills. You'll act as a trusted advisor, providing clients with financial leadership, commercial insights, and practical solutions that help them achieve their goals.
The ideal candidate will combine technical accounting expertise with excellent client relationship management skills across multiple industries.

About the role
* Develop and implement accounting systems and internal controls tailored to client needs and accounting standards
* Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP and other applicable accounting standards
* Manage and oversee accounting functions for assigned client portfolios, including financial statement preparation, tax planning, and bookkeeping supervision
* Conduct financial analysis and provide strategic business advisory recommendations to support client decision making
* Identify tax opportunities and implement strategies to minimize client tax liability while ensuring full compliance
* Manage complex accounting issues including revenue recognition, consolidations, and equity transactions
* Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff and coordinate external resources to ensure timely and quality deliverables
* Prepare comprehensive accounting research memos and documentation to support advisory recommendations
Skills & Experience
* 5+ years experience in public practice, corporate or government workplace
* Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
* Demonstrated experience in business services, advisory and CFO Advisory roles
* Xero and Microsoft Office Suite
