Civil Engineer – Major Projects (King-king DFS / Early Works) Perth-based | Engineering Design & Delivery TSS are partnering with Stantec to build out their Major Projects team in Perth, off the back of securing the King-king Copper-Gold Project in the Philippines. The current focus is DFS, with early works to follow, and the broader intent to carry this through into delivery. This is a challenging site. Steep terrain, high rainfall, drainage that needs to be properly managed, and access and roads that need to be carefully considered from a constructability point of view. We’re looking for a Civil Engineer to contribute across earthworks, roads and drainage, with a focus on practical, buildable design. About the Role You’ll be working in a multi-disciplinary team, contributing to civil design packages aligned to how the project will be delivered. Key Responsibilities Bulk earthworks design across a complex site Access and haul road design, aligned with site constraints Drainage and surface water management in a high rainfall environment Working with planners and project teams to sequence works logically Supporting DFS and early works deliverables Identifying risks early — ground conditions, water, access and constructability About You Civil Engineering degree 5 - 10 years experience Strong background in earthworks and road design Experience in drainage and site-wide water management Focused on finding solutions in complex site conditions Able to work across disciplines and contribute to delivery-focused outcomes What’s on Offer $85 - $105ph inc super 40 hours per week Up to 2 days per week WFH Perth-based role in Stantec’s Major Projects team Exposure to a large international development at study stage with potential to move into execution
