We're looking for a proactive Safety Administration Assistant to join WA's leading Family-owned refrigerated Transport & Distribution business. This role supports the HSEC Manager and team in driving a strong safety & compliance culture and ensuring WHS, COR, WAHVA & HACCP compliance across operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in implementing HSEC policies and procedures across the business
* Conduct and review risk assessments and safety management plans
* Maintain safety records, registers, and documentation.
* Assist with incident reporting and compliance tracking.
* Coordinate training schedules and toolbox meetings.
* Provide general administrative support to the HSEC team.
* Record and follow up on incidents, near misses, and corrective actions.
* Maintain HSEC documentation including inductions, registers, and audit logs.
* Coordinate site safety inspections, audits, and corrective actions.
* Support HACCP / SQF certifications and audit readiness.
* Deliver toolbox talks, safety campaigns, and wellbeing initiatives.
Requirements:
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Previous experience in safety or administration roles in Transport preferred.
* Administration/HSEC background
* Strong skills in computer applications i.e. Excel, Word, PPt, Power BI, SharePoint,
* Knowledge of WHS and WA Road Laws
* Knowledge of WA HVA Accreditation process
* Knowledge of HACCP Accreditation process
* Workers Compensation & Injury management
* Document Control and case management
* Managing Driver/employee competencies/training quals and records
* Audit and compliance.
* Cert IV WHS, Cert in Business Admin, HACCP certification
