The City is seeking an experienced professional to lead and strengthen airport operations, asset management, and infrastructure planning at Karratha Airport. This role is critical to ensuring the airport continues to operate safely, efficiently, and in line with growing regional demand and regulatory requirements.
About the Role
The Airport Operations & Assets Coordinator is responsible for the planning, management and maintenance of airport operations, airside and landside infrastructure, and assets.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee air side operations to ensure safety, compliance, and performance
* Plan and deliver infrastructure projects across air side and land side areas
* Manage airport assets and maintenance programs, including key systems and services
* Lead and develop the Airport Operations Team
* Ensure compliance with aviation, safety, and regulatory standards
About You
* 3–5 years' experience in airport operations, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role, with demonstrated experience managing projects and large-scale assets.
* Current manual (C Class) driver's licence and ability to obtain/hold a National Police Certificate (issued within the last 6 months).
* Ability to obtain and maintain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) for the duration of employment.
* Aerodrome Reporting Officer (ARO) qualification and current First Aid certificate (both desirable).
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in airport management, project management, asset management, engineering, or a related field (desirable).
