Leading Tier-2 Builder | Permanent Role
Our client, a leading tier-2 builder with a strong reputation for delivering landmark high‑rise developments, is recruiting two experienced Senior Project Engineers to join projects in Sydney's Hills District and Northern Sydney.
These roles suit ambitious engineers who thrive on technical problem‑solving, design coordination and driving quality outcomes on complex builds.
Large‑scale high‑rise or mixed‑use experience is essential.
The Opportunity
Working alongside an experienced Project Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in driving the successful delivery of large-scale projects—covering design coordination, quality, procurement, program, WHS and stakeholder management. These are site‑based roles with significant responsibility across the full project lifecycle.
The Role
* Providing hands‑on support to the Project Manager across all aspects of project delivery.
* Leading design coordination, chairing design meetings, and managing project design programs.
* Overseeing shop drawings, managing RFIs, and resolving coordination issues with consultants and subcontractors.
* Monitoring project schedules, subcontractor programs, procurement, and monthly reporting.
* Managing quality assurance on site including ITPs, mandatory inspections, consultant close‑outs, and PCA coordination for CC and OC.
* Driving project WHS compliance and supporting foremen/site managers to ensure program milestones are met.
* Contributing to QMP and CMP development and supporting defect management through to project completion.
About You
* Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, QS or similar.
* A minimum of 4+ years' experience as a Site/Project Engineer, including strong exposure to high‑rise residential or mixed‑use projects.
* Strong capability in design coordination, QA management, Aconex/document control, and stakeholder engagement.
* Proven ability to work collaboratively within tier‑2 style environments and manage competing priorities on complex projects.
