Administration Officer - Pharmacy, Queensland Health

Part time, Full time, Permanent, Casual/Temporary

Permanent part time opportunity to provide an administrative clinical support function within the STARS Pharmacy team which includes purchasing and management of consumables, PBS claiming, reporting on key performance indicators, and system administration activities within the STARS electronic medicines management systems.

Permanent part time opportunity to provide an administrative clinical support function within the STARS Pharmacy team which includes purchasing and management of consumables, PBS claiming, reporting on key performance indicators, and system administration activities within the STARS electronic medicines management systems.


About you

* Reviewing stock holdings and liaising with the Dispensary Manager regarding stock issues
* Contribute to the development of and maintain appropriate procedures, guidelines and systems to facilitate STARS Pharmacy Department's effective administration, procurement, reporting and statutory requirements including adherence to Queensland Health's Financial Management Practice Manual and associated procurement practices.
* Complete the PBS claiming for pharmaceuticals and troubleshoot any identified compliance issues.
* Maintain and collate accurate statistical information ensuring appropriate and timely data is entered and maintained through HBCIS, iPharmacy, ESM and other information systems as required.
* Under the direction of the Medicines Strategy team undertake a broad range of reporting functions that support the delivery of high quality and timely delivery of patient care.
