At our Day Club, we provide a warm and welcoming respite space for people living with dementia and their families. Our program seeks to bring meaningful connections and engagement to our clients in a vibrant, supportive community. Join us at our Day Club, where we aim for every day to be filled with warmth, laughter, and connection. If you enjoy reminiscing and sharing stories, are positive, patient, and have a big heart for connecting with others, we want you on our team! Join us on a Tuesday, either weekly or fortnightly, with flexible hours between 9am – 3pm at our Day Club in Newstead. Our centre is staffed by Dementia Australia team members and dedicated volunteers, delivering person-centred support and engaging members in meaningful activities based on their individual interests and needs.

Responsibilities
* Share stories and reminiscence with members to support engagement and connection.
* Provide person-centred support through activities based on individual interests and needs.
* Create a welcoming and supportive environment as part of a team including Dementia Australia staff and volunteers.
* Assist with activity setup and participation during daytime sessions.
What we're looking for
* Enjoy reminiscing and sharing stories; positive, patient, and compassionate.
* Willingness to connect with older adults living with dementia and their families.
* Availability on Tuesdays, with flexible hours between 9:00am and 3:00pm (weekly or fortnightly).
