We are looking for a hard working individual who is creative, has good instincts, and enjoys interacting and dealing with people on a daily basis to work as our Events Manager.
The successful applicant will be expected to attend to the following tasks:
**Operational**
- Oversee all event operational procedures and standards;
- Develop and maintain transparent and consistent communication processes within the hotel;
- Managing costs in line with our operational and KPI requirements;
- Conferring with managers and supervisors to coordinate activities within the hotel.
**Customer Service**
- Deliver a premium experience for all of our customers;
- Attend to and oversee bookings for large groups, including event and function bookings;
- Deal with conflict situations that arise with customers;
- Ensuring all customer complaints / reviews are addressed;
- Overseeing achievement of customer satisfaction, mystery shoppers and customer reviews;
**General**
- have strong leadership skills and the ability to be a team player;
- have demonstrated organisational skills with a high attention to detail;
- have excellent verbal and customer service skills; and
- have experience as an event manager in a hotel environment.
Pay: $30.00 - $33.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 - 38 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Overtime
