We are seeking an experienced and driven Branch Manager to lead our Newcastle operations and play a key role in driving performance, safety, and customer outcomes.
Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, you will take full ownership of the Newcastle Branch, leading a team and overseeing all operational, financial, and customer service activities. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will influence culture, performance, and growth.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach and develop a team (5 direct / 25+ indirect reports)Lead and manage day-to-day branch operations across parts, service, and support teams.Drive a strong safety culture aligned with Komatsu’s Golden Rules and HSE standards.Build and maintain strong customer relationships and deliver on the Customer Support Charter.Monitor and improve key KPIs including WIP, technician productivity, and sales performance.Manage branch P&L, budgets, and financial performance.Identify opportunities for growth and continuous improvement.Ensure compliance with company policies, governance, and risk management requirements.Maintain high standards of branch presentation, facilities, and asset management.
What we are looking for
Proven leadership experience in operations, service, or customer-focused environments.Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets and performance.Background in construction, mining, or heavy equipment industries (highly regarded).Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.Ability to analyse performance, identify gaps, and implement improvements.Experience with systems such as SAP or Dynamics (desirable).Trade or technical background (advantageous).
