The Role
Our client has an exciting permanent opportunity for an experiencedBusiness Development Engineer / Estimatorwith Post-tensioning and Structural Strengthening experience to join their team.
The successful person in this role will support the business development team in identifying opportunities, preparing
proposals, building and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients, partners, and stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the post-tensioning industry, strong technical and communication skills, and the ability to manage both administrative and analytical tasks that drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Assess / Prepare and manage Tenders, bids, proposals and pre-qualification documents for post-tensioning projects.
Generate new project opportunities.
Complete PT tender rates from first principle.
Assist in the preparation of presentations, reports, and client communications.
Maintain and update the company's CRM system, ensuring client and project data is accurate and current.
Analyze market trends, competitors, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and estimators to gather technical input for proposals.
Support networking efforts, trade shows, and industry events to promote the company's services.
Monitor progress on business development pipeline and provide regular updates to management.

What are we looking for?
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience in business development, design, or project operational performance within the post tension industry.
Strong technical understanding of post tension processes and terminology.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in MS Office Suite; experience with CRM systems is a plus.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and deadlines.
Ability to work collaboratively across departments and independently when required.
Analytical and strategic mindset with the ability to evaluate data and market information.
