About the Role
FMS Group is expanding with a new division - PrimeBatch, which distributes concrete future solutions technologies for an international manufacturer specializing in concrete batching plants for various applications.
We are seeking a highly motivated, accountable, goal-oriented business development professional to introduce our brand to the market and secure new business across Australia and PNG. You should be confident in decision-making with an entrepreneurial spirit.
Your responsibilities will include selling equipment such as mixers, slurry plants, control equipment, binder systems, backfill plants, shotcrete plants, concrete plants, and providing engineering support, installation, and after-sales services.
This role involves engaging key clients across Australia and Papua New Guinea, building a pipeline of opportunities, and closing new business. Willingness to travel nationally and internationally is required.
Ideal candidates would live in Southern Queensland but we offer flexibility for other locations, provided they are near a major airport and can work remotely or from an office. No relocation packages are offered.
You will proactively promote brand awareness, identify potential projects, contact clients, prepare RFP responses, coordinate deal reviews, maintain a pipeline, and develop relationships for repeat business. Cold calling new clients will be part of your role.
Participation in industry conferences, tradeshows, and events is necessary. Experience in technical engineering sales, fixed/mobile plant assets, heavy equipment, or construction markets is beneficial.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
* 3-5+ years of technical sales experience in plant assets, mining, infrastructure, or capital equipment
* Strong communication skills with clients at all decision-making levels
* Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple opportunities
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, HubSpot CRM, Teams, AutoCAD, Adobe PDF, or similar software
* Ability to adapt to changing priorities and meet deadlines
