About the Opportunity
We are seeking Expression of Interests for Grounds Maintenance Team Members/team leader, Trade assistant, labourers to join our growing team. This role is focused on maintaining and improving the appearance and functionality of our sites. You will perform a variety of tasks to ensure our grounds are safe, well-presented, and operational. We currently have multiple positions available for Vegetation Field Team Leader & Team Members with opportunities for Full-time, Part-time & Casual positions. – Change this to apply to trade assistant etc
These roles are hands-on and outdoors, so you must be comfortable working in a variety of weather conditions. We provide ongoing support and mentoring to help you develop your skills and achieve your career goals in land and grounds management.
Key Responsibilities
General grounds maintenance duties, including:
* Turf and garden maintenance
* Pest identification and eradication
* Ensuring overall site presentation
* Follow health and safety procedures at all times
Experience & Qualifications
* Team Leaders:
* Minimum Certificate III in Horticulture
* ChemCert (AQF3) / AC/DC ticket
* White Card
* First Aid (preferred)
* Labourers / Team Members:
* General grounds maintenance experience
* White Card
* Relevant experience with hand tools
Requirements for All Applicants
* Open/unrestricted driver's licence
* Physically fit and able to undertake labour-intensive work
* Ability to work unsupervised
* Good attitude to workplace health and safety
* Own reliable vehicle or ability to travel to sites
* Desirable Attributes
Experience in vegetation, land, or weed management
Experience/interest in plant species identification
Experience with equipment operation (chainsaws, brush cutters, etc.)
