The Opportunity
We are recruiting for an experienced Service Technician to support the commissioning, maintenance, and long‐term servicing of utility‐scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). This is a hands‐on role working across multiple project sites, supporting critical renewable energy infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
* Commission and service large-scale BESS assets
* Perform preventative and corrective maintenance
* Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and control system faults
* Maintain equipment including PCS, energy storage, transformers, switchgear, and SCADA systems
* Perform preventative & corrective maintenance to meet warranty and LTSA requirements.
* Supervise subcontractors when required
* Complete service reports and maintain accurate records
* Ensure all works comply with safety and isolation procedures
About You
* Qualified Electrical Technician with 5+ years experience in service or maintenance within heavy industries, infrastrucure or renewables
* Minimum 5 years' experience in electrical servicing
* Renewables or power generation is adventageous but not a pre requisite
* Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
* Comfortable working autonomously across regional sites
* Valid driver's licence and First Aid certification
* Willingness to travel extensively (50%+)
* HV knowledge is desireable.
