The role involves managing a clinical caseload independently, undertaking speech pathology evaluations, providing training, strategies, and recommendations to positively impact daily activities. You will also consult and collaborate with families, other health professionals, and service providers involved in the child's care in a sensitive, open, and timely manner.
The ideal candidate will bring relevant tertiary qualifications in speech pathology, SPA membership or eligibility to register, demonstrated knowledge of disabilities, exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, strong organisational skills, and computer literacy skills. A full driver's license is also required.
About the Role
In this role, you will play a key part in delivering quality, coordinated, efficient, and evidence-based services to our participants of the NDIS and disability clients specialising in children and young people under the auspice of other funding arrangements. You will develop tailored caseloads, working with individuals of all ages, improving quality of life and reducing restrictive practices. You will participate in supervision processes, quality improvement, research, and service development programs and projects as required.
