Copywriter

We're looking for a Copywriter to join our team. Someone who thinks in ideas, writes with intent and imagination, and crafts words with a slightly worrying, yet equally applauded, obsession.
Your skills as a creative thinker and writer will plug into our creative team, where you'll get to flex them across brand, advertising campaigns and content. You'll team up with our art directors, designers, strategists, producers and external collaborators, to take projects from briefs to completed work in the wild.
This role is suited for someone who has worked in an agency for 3-5 years, confident in their craft but constantly honing it, and enjoys bringing creative solutions to problems.
You'll be mentored by senior creatives, supported to grow your thinking and craft, and trusted to do your best work in a collaborative, down-to-earth environment.
You, in a nutshell:
3+ years' experience as a Copywriter in an agency environment.
Genuine love for writing, and appreciation of the resounding impact words can have.
Strong conceptual thinker with the ability to translate strategy into compelling, effective creative ideas.
Proven thinking and writing versatility across advertising campaigns, brand identity, and content; as well as between diverse brand voices.
Experience developing storytelling frameworks, scripts and storyboards, with on-set production exposure.
High standard of craft, attention to detail and pride in output.
Collaborative team player comfortable working with senior creatives, designers and strategists.
Open to feedback, eager to learn and grow creatively.
Culturally curious and connected to the real world, and mindful of how ideas and stories live in it.
Values-led, organised and accountable, with solid time and WIP management.
Your everyday (although every day is different):
Distill client briefs into creative solutions that are driven by ideas, and rooted in strategy.
Write distinctive copy across formats - from campaign platform lines and radio scripts, to social posts and brand stories, and everything in between.
Visualise film and animated concepts into storyboards.
Develop video content that could range from 90 seconds to 10 episodes.
Define a brand's tone of voice: develop it for a new identity or campaign, or flex it when needed.
Be a creative voice on set whether it's conducting interviews, partnering with cinematographers, or working with directors.
Be an integral part of the production process - direct voice over sessions, work with editors, team up with photographers.
Collaborate with the wider team - creative, strategy, brand, design, web, PR - to develop projects and bring them to life.
Own your work and pitch it to clients.
