**About the Role**
We are currently seeking to appoint a Claims Support Administrator with a leading NSW Government agency to perform various administration tasks as required. The Claim Support Administrator is responsible for supporting and assisting the operations of the department to support with standards and procedures.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide a range of administrative and support services, including records management, routine correspondence, meeting and event coordination, travel coordination to support the effective operation of the team.
- Manage the financial interactions between the claims management system and our partnered financial institution to ensure payment of invoices and claimant weekly benefits and reimbursements.
- Understand claims functions of multiple stakeholders and triage correspondence accordingly.
- Complete complex data searches and interpretation in determining correct channels for claims management.
- Develop a basic understanding of the claims management function to assist with queue enquiries and absent management during high volume claims periods.
- Collect and compile information for and prepare documentation and correspondence in line with quality and organisational requirements.
- Complete financial transactions and purchasing services, ensuring compliance with agency standards and procedures.
- Respond to enquiries, and escalate and redirect issues as required, to ensure the provision of accurate information.
- Undertake entry-level case management activities for non-significant claims.
- Meet established performance indicators and injury management goals and objectives of the business unit, identifying and communicating opportunities for improvement to process and work allocation.

- 3 + years' administrative experience
- Vast experience working with claims
