Category 5 is partnering with Midland Brick to recruit experienced Accounts Payable Officers for an immediate start. This role manages high-volume invoice, expense, and supplier account processing and reconciliation.
Responsibilities
* Accurate invoice processing, matching, batching, and coding
* Reconciliation of supplier/vendor statements
* Supporting accountants with end-of-month processing and schedules
* Onboarding new suppliers and maintaining supplier data
* Processing EFT and cheque payments
* Providing general administration support to the finance team
Qualifications
* Experience as an Accounts Payable Officer or a similar financial role
* Proven experience in high-volume accounts payable processing
* Proficient MS Office skills with intermediate Excel capability
* Fast and accurate data entry skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing deadlines
* Customer-focused, results‑oriented attitude with a can‑do approach
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team environment
* Full working rights in Australia and residency in Perth
* Ability to pass pre‑employment medical & drug and alcohol screening
