A full time opportunities exist to join our team in Townsville as a Storeperson.
Tasks and responsibilities
* Receiving, handling and dispatching of goods
* On time deliveries to our customers
* Load and unload trucks and containers
* Operate a forklift to lift, move and store stock in a safe and efficient manner
* Prepare loose and palleted stock for dispatch
* Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and safe.
* Ensure warehouse activities comply with legal & safety standard
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills & experience: -
* Previous Warehouse/Delivery driving experience
* Be fit and reliable – heavy lifting & manual labour involved
* Current drivers license with HR license a distinct advantage
* Current Forklift license however we will provide training to the right person.
* Be able to adhere to dispatch schedules and deadlines
* Ability to work unsupervised & autonomously.
