Cairns Hospital is the only major referral hospital in Far North Queensland and also provides care for people from Cape York and the Torres Strait.
About your role
Demonstrated specialist level knowledge and clinical skills in complex contemporary clinical practice standards with accountability for providing independent high level specialist clinical services relating to MR imaging.
Provide independent application of clinical expertise to improve clinical techniques and provide the reference point for other clinicians at a service level and advice to senior management, colleagues and other relevant stakeholders regarding complex professional standards and clinical service development.
The role influences clinical practice through the provision of professional advocacy and / or leads clinical governance systems and processes for the service.
