Your New Role
Join our Enjoy (Specialist Funds) team and be a technical go-to for Aware Super's specialist retirement products-Investment Fund (IF), Defined Benefit (DB) and Lifetime Pension (LTP).
You'll deliver end-to-end administration and member servicing, resolve complex queries, and support advisers and internal stakeholders to ensure every interaction reflects our members-first promise.
You'll report to the Manager, Enjoy (Specialist Funds) and collaborate widely across Member Engagement, Adviser Help, Adviser network and regional offices, plus Business Development, Product, Legal and Compliance.
Please note you will be required to travel to our Sydney office on average of twice per month, with your remaining office days being based in our Wollongong Office.
In addition you will:
Own end-to-end administration for IF, DB and LTP: member onboarding, incoming/outgoing transactions, account servicing, exception handling and query resolution;
Act as an SME and escalation point for complex retirement product matters; provide clear, accurate technical guidance to colleagues and stakeholders
Investigate and remediate complaints, incidents and escalations; support accurate year-end processes and delivery to agreed SLAs; and
Uphold quality assurance-peer review complex transactions; validate data quality (incl. SuperStream) and contribute to regulatory/actuarial reporting checks.
How do you exceed our expectations?
The idea of being part of our growth is exciting and you want to play a pivotal role in making super simple;
5+ years in financial services with proven expertise across Investment Funds and/or Defined Benefit and Lifetime Pension products; large-scale registry experience;
Ability to interpret and apply super & tax legislation and policies (ATO, Centrelink, ASIC, APRA);
Strong understanding of SuperStream and clearing house capabilities; advanced stakeholder and communication skills;
RG146 (superannuation) - required; ASFA Cert IV (ASFA 100) or Diploma of Superannuation Administration - highly desirable; and
You are balanced in accepting risk in any decision you face.
You are curious to understand risk context and choose to speak up as we simplify, learn and grow.
