Embrace the opportunity to thrive both personally and professionally!As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you’ll report to the Regional Clinical Manager for our North-East region. You'llplay a crucial role in conducting assessments, writing behavioural support plans and programmes, assisting with the implementation of plans and supervision of other practitioners. The work is based on the principles of Multi-Element Behaviour Support (MEBS) and Positive Behaviour Support for children and adults in the home, community, and school/workplace settings.What You'll DoMake positive and distinct changes to the lives of others by developing and maintaining relationshipsProvide direct behavioural interventions in individual and group sessionsDevelop Functional Behavioural Assessments and Behaviour Analysis Support PlansProvide support and training to colleagues, caregivers support workers on clinical techniquesPartner with varying professionals including doctors, psychiatrists, speech therapists, and occupational therapists to develop and implement individualised client goals and checklistsAdhere to legislative requirements regarding timely and accurate report writing and documentationComplete introductory IABA training in Non-Linear Multi-element Positive Behaviour SupportSkills and Experiences:What You’ll NeedA bachelor's degree and/or post graduate qualifications related to Positive Behaviour SupportHold or can obtain an NDIS Practitioner ID, NDIS Workers Screening Check and Working with Children Check.Proven experience as either a Behaviour Support Practitioner, Behaviour Analyst or Behaviour TherapistAbility to prepare and finalise technical reports in a timely manner, using high-level verbal and written communication skillsEffective time management skills, managing multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.Hold a valid driver's licence and access to a vehicleWillingness to make a significant difference in the lives of the people and families we supportWorking at CPBSJoin the CPBS team, current recipients of the Most Outstanding Positive Behaviour Support Provider Worldwide, at The Globals!Working with CPBS will see you gain a wealth of rewarding experiences as we support our participants at every stage of their journey.
