Event: Supercars Championship
Location: Sydney Motorsport Park (Eastern Creek, Western Sydney)
Dates: 20 February – 23 February
Employer: Established environmental services provider supporting major Australian events
We are currently seeking reliable and proactive Casual Event Staff to support the Waste Management Team at the Supercars event at Sydney Motorsport Park, Eastern Creek.
This role plays an important part in overall event operations, helping ensure waste services run efficiently and sustainability targets are achieved across the venue. You will be working as part of a structured and supportive on-site team in a fast-paced major event environment.
Responsibilities
As Event Staff – Waste Management Support, you will assist the environmental services team in maintaining effective waste flow and resource recovery throughout the event.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting waste station operations across spectator and public areas
* Assisting with bin monitoring and waste stream separation
* Helping coordinate waste movement to collection points
* Providing operational support to supervisors as required
* Contributing to sustainability and environmental compliance initiatives
This is an active, outdoor role requiring strong teamwork and the ability to remain engaged in a high-energy environment.
Your Profile
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
Comfortable with physical, hands-on tasks
Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Positive attitude and team-focused mindset
Availability across the event dates listed above
Previous event or operations experience advantageous but not essential
Shift Schedule
Please note shift times vary across the four event days:
* 20 February:
o 1:00pm – 9:00pm
o 2:00pm – 10:00pm
* 21 February:
o 1:00pm – 6:00pm
o 3:00pm – 11:00pm
* 22 February:
o 1:00pm – 9:00pm
o 3:00pm – 11:00pm
* 23 February:
o 8:00am – 4:00pm
