Disability Support Workers - Tweed Heads, NSWRight at Home - Supporting Independence, Choice & Quality Care About the Role Right at Home Gold Coast South is seeking compassionate, dedicated, and reliable Disability Support Workers to join our team.
We provide in-home and community support that empowers people with disability to live independently and enjoy a meaningful, fulfilling life.
In this role, you will deliver person-centred care that maximises independence, supports individual goals, and encourages community participation.
You'll work collaboratively with clients, their families, and our care team to ensure safe, high-quality support.
Shifts available: Working in a 7 day roster, supporting a female clientHours: 5+ hour service shifts availableTimes: Shift 1, 7:00am-12:30pm, Shift 2, 12:30pm-7:00pm, Shift 3, 7:00pm-7:00am (passive sleepover included with wakeup calls) Key Responsibilities Provide personal care and assist with daily living activities Support overnight needs during passive sleepover shifts when required Assist with mobility, manual handling, and exercise programs Encourage participation in social, recreational, and community activities Support with domestic tasks (meal preparation, light housekeeping, etc.) Implement behaviour support strategies, including restrictive practices where required Maintain accurate documentation and follow individual service plans Collaborate with client and support team including allied professionals to support client goals What You'll Need Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Disability) Current First Aid & CPR certificates NDIS Worker Screening Check and NDIS Orientation Module Police Clearance Reliable, insured vehicle (comprehensive insurance required) Valid working rights in Australia Smartphone with internet access What We Offer Flexible hours and days to suit your lifestyle A variety of shifts Opportunities for independence with strong local office support Ongoing training, professional development, and clinical guidance SCHADS Award pay and conditions Next Steps If you're a caring and committed Disability Support Worker who wants to make a real difference, we'd love to hear from you.
