Automotive Service Technician Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional vehicle maintenance and repair services.
This role involves performing basic vehicle maintenance tasks, including tire rotations and oil changes, as well as diagnosing complex problems and planning and executing vehicle repairs.
You will also be required to isolate systems or components that may have caused the problem, drive vehicles for testing purposes, and use various equipment such as hand-held and onboard compression gauges or diagnostic computers.
Additionally, you will be responsible for repairing or replacing worn parts ahead of vehicle breakdown or damage.

Qualifications and Requirements
* A high school diploma or equivalent
* A valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract
* The ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
* Excellent time management and workflow skills, with a high level of integrity and work ethic
This is a unionized position, with annual increases awarded in February of each year. The pay rate for a fully licensed Automotive Technician is $31.20/hour, with apprentices' pay rates a percentage of the top rate based on accumulated hours in the apprenticeship program.
