Redmond Hotels Pty Ltd is on the hunt for a dynamic, experienced Hotel Manager to take charge of operations at The Coast Hotel in Coffs Harbour, NSW 2450. Known as the region's top venue for bar, dining, and entertainment, The Coast Hotel offers seasonal menus renowned among its patrons. Weekdays feature carefully curated dishes, while weekends come alive with live music and exciting events like trivia nights.

Scope of the role:
* Oversee daily operations across the bar, restaurant, event spaces, and entertainment areas, ensuring smooth service delivery.
* Direct planning, business development, and marketing efforts, while incorporating corporate social responsibility initiatives, are all managed through an integrated approach to business operations.
* Supervise compliance with liquor licensing, gaming regulations, and health and safety laws.
* Manage budgeting, purchasing, and financial controls to ensure efficient use of resources.
* Regularly prioritise guest feedback and implement tailored actions such as personalised engagement, quick issue resolution, and continuous service improvements to enhance the guest experience.
* Lead, train, and develop a high-performing team to ensure exceptional service and smooth operations.
* Manage stakeholder relationships both internally (staff and management) and externally (suppliers, partners, local community), ensuring positive collaboration for business goals.
* Oversee property maintenance, ensuring all areas remain functional, inviting, and well-maintained, with efficient resource allocation to minimise disruptions and uphold operational efficiency.
* Assist guests by offering local insights and recommendations for top Coffs Harbour attractions, such as beaches and national parks, while helping with transport and logistical arrangements.
* Manage inventory and stock levels with the accounts department, Head Chef, and Restaurant Manager to ensure the venue remains well-stocked and operational.
To be considered for this role, you should:
* Be willing to relocate to a surrounding location in regional NSW.
* Be available for weekend shifts and split shifts.
* Hold at least a Diploma in Hotel Management.
* Have 2+ years of managerial experience in hospitality.
* Able to work well and lead the team
* Have exceptional interpersonal skills.
