Spread Joy, by joining our Volunteer Team! The HammondCare Volunteer program is a great way for you to make a meaningful difference to the life of an older person, right here in Hunter NSW. With your assistance as a mini-bus driver, elderly residents from HammondCare aged care home in Waratah will enjoy short outings around the local area. You will be accompanied by one of our care staff who will look after the residents care needs. Y our impact Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated. HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.
