Your Role
As a Barista at 28 Mason, you'll be the heart of our café — crafting great coffee, connecting with customers, and helping create the warm, welcoming atmosphere we're known for.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and serve high-quality espresso coffee, teas, and specialty drinks
Maintain consistency and attention to detail in every cup
Greet customers with a smile and provide friendly, efficient service
Operate coffee machines, grinders, and POS systems confidentlyKeep the coffee station and café area clean, stocked, and organized
Assist with food preparation and service when needed
Support the team with opening and closing duties
Follow food safety and hygiene practices
What We're Looking For
Previous barista or café experience (preferred, but training provided for the right person)
A passion for coffee and genuine love for customer service
A positive attitude and strong work ethic
Ability to work well under pressure during busy periods
Reliable, punctual, and a team player
Flexibility to work mornings, weekends, and public holidays
