Sought: Grants Officer
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Grants Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will provide guidance and administrative support for research activities, managing a portfolio of research grant services.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
* Providing advice on research establishment queries and issues to researchers, staff, and senior management.
* Demonstrating initiative and lateral thinking in performing responsibilities and activities to ensure continual improvement.
* Serving as a principal contact for matters relating to research grant establishment, management, administration, and reporting.

The remuneration package includes a salary from $77,858 to $90,316 + 17% superannuation.
You will have the opportunity to make sound decisions within your sphere of responsibility and take responsibility for delivering to plan and on time.
A degree without subsequent relevant work experience; or completion of an associate diploma and at least 2 years subsequent relevant work experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant work experience and/or education and training is required.
You must also possess high level computer literacy with demonstrated ability in word processing, spreadsheet and database applications including high level accuracy in maintaining records.
In addition, strong customer service skills and a demonstrated experience and commitment to process improvement are essential.
